Locations In or Near Idyllwild California
Double View Lookout
Located in Idyllwild, California
Located at the end of a long residential street ending in a cul-de-sac. This "locals only location" can be a little hoppin and poppin. I suggest this location for adults only, every once in awhile there's a local "hanging out". Great views none the less, sunset is immaculate. 27o degrees of valley views as far as the eye can see. A great year round, all day spot.

Located in Idyllwild
Tollgate Trail
Located at the end of a public road, you're able to easily park right off a paved road in the dirt. This can be a popular trail for bikes and people, but 80% of the time is totally empty. There is a wide variation of foliage and the sun sets near the valley in the winter time. This would be a great location for a snowy shoot or a sunset shoot. Really anytime of year or day we'll be able to find a wonderful scenery for your pictures.

Tahquitz Meadows
Located in Idyllwild, California
Sunset are my favorite times of day to shoot here because of the golden hour glowing scenery, fields of high grass, and the every changing scenery of the autumnal trees. If you like the field of golden style this is the location for you!

Lake Fulmor
Located 20 min past Idyllwild
Located with a PAY $5 parking lot, lake is full of water year round. People fish and walk around the lake. It takes about 30minutes to walk around the whole lake in a circle. There is plenty of space to wander and a public toilet too. Totally worth the drive over there.

The Grotto
Located at the end of a residential street, this "locals only" spot is a hidden gem. Almost 6months of the year there is running water in the river, and tons of foliage from trees to flowers and everything in-between. In the winter time this is not the same case, but it would still serve as a great location "off the beaten path". Parking can be limited and I always have a back up location in mind if this is the case.

Located in Mountain Center California
Thomas Mountain Rd.
This location is at the end of a dirt road about a quarter mile down. Easy road to drive. This location is perfect for golden hour. You can see the big rock filled mountains in the background. Parking is easy and the ground is easy and even to walk on for children and elders. Rarely has snow in the winter.

Located in Thomas Mountain California
Fobes Ranch Rd.
Bright Morning & Sunset are my favorite times of day to shoot here because of the golden hour glowing scenery, mountain views and open skies. This location is perfect for families of any size because of its big open space. It is well cared for year round and rarely gets much snow in the winter. At the front of the road and again about 1 mile in there is plenty of space to pull over your car on the dirt road. This is my favorite location for its many scenery aspects there's many different options in one spot.

Located in Thomas Mountain California
Ramona Trail
This expansive location has lots of ever green trees & foliage year round. It is a great location to pick for a fresh & clean vibe. There is plenty of places to take picture regardless of other people and hikers. It is very easy to walk around on even ground. There is parking in a very large dirt parking lot at the entrance to the trail area. It rarely snows in the winter because it is at a lower elevation.
